Unwind your mind by relaxing your body in this deeply renewing and nourishing two-hour yin yoga and yoga nidra workshop. Together the systematic practices of yin yoga and yoga nidra will slowly bring your mind into stillness by working with the breath, softening the body and focusing the mind. Yin yoga is an integrative, meditative practice that targets the connective tissues of the body, releases deep energetic patterns, physical blocks and promotes overall balance. Yoga nidra (yogic sleep) is a led meditation done while in shavasana and focuses on relaxing the whole person while training the mind in deeper states of awareness.
During this fully experiential workshop you’ll cultivate mindfulness, progressively withdraw from the external world to reduce tension and stress, enhance your sense of creativity and experience a state of deep relaxation. No previous understanding of yin yoga or yoga nidra is required to participate. All levels of experience are welcome.
